Information on Uganda - 91.3 Capital FM

Capital FM is one of Kampala's top radio stations on 91.3fm with DJ's like Alex Ndaula, Allan Kasuja together with presenters like Jimmy Jones and Flavia. It is one of the few Radio stations covering the whole country.

It started way back in the 90's, located in Kisementi with William Pike and Patrick Quarcoo as the biggest share holders. Beat FM is a Luganda version that is owned by Capital FM management.

They boast of programmes like Capital Gang a political programme, Dance Force by Alex Ndaula and Love Doctor formerly by DJ Ronnie and now being run by Jimmy Jones.

I have got an interview with a former political prisoner, Vusumzi Mcongo who was serving a 12-year sentence together with Nelson Mandela following Apertheid in South Africa. it sounds great but pliz i beg you the management of capital fm at least also consider us the Northern people we love capital fm but you are just punishing us by letting us struggle with the signal the fact is you have a branch in Mbale for eastern, Mbarara for Western, kampala for southern,central and in ? for Northern!!! why not Northern? you think we don't want to listen to Capital gang, big break fast, late date with Jimmy Jones, Evening drive Alex, Flavia, 8 to 8 with Jimmy JONES again and to worsen the situation.........hayaaaa

I used to follow this channel and i appreciated it much, i could tune Capital in DR Congo, from an area called Butuhe, even when i am in Kampala that's always my favourite radio station. Thanks guys
